So this highly-promoted "boycott" turned out to be a bust. Mainly cause THEY DIDN'T EVEN SAY WHEREIN THESE LISTED CITES THEY'D BE AT!
At least with the Chicagoland "no show-test", they actually HAD an actual location to not show up at.
Minority Equality in Motorsports (MEinM-pronounced May-nim) was set up to counteract and debunk the claims set by the so-called Minority Youth Matters Movement and it's founder Terrance Alton Cox III

A little introduction
I am a NASCAR fan. But I am also considered a minority (I am half
Hispanic on my father' side). Therefore, I'm a little offended by the
stereotyping all of us fans as "southern white trash (racist) rednecks".
Then along comes a group like the "Minority Youth Matters Movement".
The so-called "Minority Youth Matters Movement" was founded by a guy named Terrance Cox out of Atlanta. He claims to have run in the sport and even told me he "knew what it was like on the inside". This group first came to my attention in the fall of 2015, when I noticed a series of collage pictures announcing of a protest from these guys being spammed on Twitter in response to several NASCAR related articles, and even non-NASCAR related sports articles and political related posts.
So I'm like, "Who are these people?", and went to their site. What I read was a load of nonsense!
This is a movement of well-informed consumers. We are a network of minority community leaders, families, civic groups, students, teachers, community organizations and faith based communities to bring together a national platform and collective voice for a common cause. Our goal is to bring about awareness that fifty percent of all revenue generated in America comes from minority communities. We buy services and goods from companies that support and sponsor NASCAR and its race teams, but have no major presence anywhere within NASCAR. This has to change!
"NO MAJOR PRESENCE"? There are several minority drivers (more on that later), and there are a few pit crew members as well.
MYMM is supported by the Hispanic, African American, and Asian communities, all whom have been neglected and discriminated against by NASCAR. Since the Fast & Furious movie's multi-million dollar success, there has been a major interest from minority youth groups within the inner cities throughout the United States and around the world. Fast & Furious has sparked young America to reach out to resources seeking opportunities in the racing industry. Our major corporations must realize that if 50% of their revenue comes from minority groups, we need their support to open the eyes of NASCAR. They invest billions of dollars to a sport where diversity has not existed since 1948. Our Worldwide Youth Movement is growing, strong, ready, and anxious, and hungry to taste the success of NASCAR NOW.
Note that they say, "supported by the Hispanic, African American, and Asian communities". But if you read the site futher, all they seem to focus on are the African Americans for the most part. Even when I posted a list of minority drivers, they only focused on the African American one:
May I point you all to:
Darrell Wallace Jr
Kyle Larson
Daniel Suarez
Aric Almirola
ALL DRIVERS WHO ARE MINORITIES!
- comment posted by your adminstress on "MYMM NASCAR Hall of Fame Exhibit" on GoFundMe (http://gofundme.com/29szbjvr), Wednesday, June 22, 2016)
Terrance got back to me, but his response, much like his site, only focused on Wallace Jr, who is African American. Again, if you were for "Minority" Youth... WOULDN'T THAT MEAN ALL MINORITIES?
I've been watching this group since November 2015, but did not comment to them personally until I posted the preceding comment. Terrance response (which can be seen on the page as well), in a nutshell called me ignorant and "Just some periphal social media troll".
Troll? Me, a troll? I'M NOT THE ONE SPAMMING COMMENTS WITH YOUR BOGUS MOVEMENT! (One of his Twitter accounts got banned for that. Terrance blamed NASCAR, which is a lie.) Another one of their shills, one Kevin Ryan Anderson, also promised me pics of the apparent Homestead protest that never materialized on the date he promised. They also planned protests at:
The Sprint Cup Awards
the Daytona 500
the spring 2016 race at Atlanta
For some reason, the Indianapolis 500 (their so-called "racing syndicate friends" called the IndyCar people "worse than NASCAR", which hasn't been shown how)
And a future protest at:
the Chicagoland Chase race
So I have put together this blog and also a Facebook page to counterbalance this ill-informed group. Help notify as many as you can 'bout them, and us as well.
